Howdy
« on: August 17, 2008, 01:45:00 AM »
Hey guys found another bowhunting site and noticed the knifemaking section. Knifemaking is a severe addiction of mine so I thought I'd stop by. I recognize several names from some other knife forums I'm on. Gonna have to start checkin things out in here more often. Thought I'd show a few pics of my work

nice build along, could you find the plans to the etcher that you built?  If you did I would love to see them!  thanks, Dave.

Thanks guys.
Dave for some reason I can't find my bookmark for the etcher. I'll have to do some more looking then make sure it's ok with the mods to post a link of his etcher tutorial.

Rooster to be honest I don't know if I like it because I'm not sure I know how to work it. All my knifemaking has been self taught off of the internet and that includes building the forge. I've never even seen another forge in action. I've posted some pics of it on some knife forums with the flame going and was told it does exactly what it is supposed to to so who knows lol.
