Neck Knife w/ Quilled Sheath

here are a couple damascus neck knives i just finished.  the quilled sheath was custom made for me by rebacca parker.  enjoy!

I like them! If the second one needs a home I might make a good foster parent.  :)  Heck if any of them need a home I would make a good foster parent!

Nice job Chris.  I really like the bone joint handle.  Plus you gotta love Rebecca's quill work.  I have a few of her sheaths too...tippit

  I like the knife.... ALOT!

What is the bolster made of?

   What do you have to do to the bone to be able to use it? Is that a ham or shoulder bone? I am asking because it is about to be deer season and I am going to save some bones for knife handles.

the bolster is ebony.  the best is the foreleg bone but any straight section would work.  i simply drill out the inside to make it uniform and big enough for the tang.  i then stabilize with superglue and polish.
