Here is a short buildalong on my first knife. I obtained the blade from Woodcraft.
step 1: glue up the scales (Devcon 5 min) epoxy. I used hickory, yellowheart then cocobolo

Cut the scales on the bandsaw. I use a clamp to maintain a safe distance from the blade:

Glue the handle on the tang, (devcon 5 min epoxy again)

Meanwhile, start coating the handle with finish....I used Cambells Magnalac, 2 coats, sand coat, sand, coat sand, wax, polish

I am out of snaps...so I imprised a antler button and elastic cord to hold it in...the sheath probably hold it tight enough by itsself
