Since nobody has mentioned it yet, I thought I would.  The banquet, silent auction and the regular auction are coming up for the UBM.  The dates for all the activities are FEB. 1,2 and 3rd. with the banquet on Saturday.  Vendors will be there too.  It is in Jefferson City, MO.

Just got my confirmation (for dinner tickets) back in yesterday's mail.

I am sure Black Widow will be there.

It's at the Truman Hotel, IIRC... I spoke to Roger the other day at Black Widow, and he said they'd be there, but wasn't sure who else was coming (vendors).

I have not made it the last couple of years, but it is really a great time. I think T.J. Conrads is the speaker if I remember right. I remember the last time T.J. was there he does a great job.

Ron,

Talked to John (Sipsey River) the other day. Don't think he's going to make it this year.

But, there should be enough vendors there to spend all your money with.

Jim Reynolds, is planning on being there. There will be a couple of other Bowyers also. The Knocking Point,Black Widow Bows, with some other Vendors and Arrowsmith's scheduled to be there. We usually have a couple of guys who make custom knives there.

We will be selling Raffle Tickets for a Black Widow Bow which we will draw for Saturday night.

M.R. James will be there signing his new book.

There will be 3 seminars throughout the day Saturday.

Sunday morning a couple of UBM Members will be conducting a Church Service for those who wish to attend.

Saturday nights auction will include, Bows, Arrows, Quivers, a Doug Campbell Knife plus a couple of other Custom Knives, Prints and Art work, A Black Bear Hunt in Quebec, Bowfishing trip, Dutch Oven Cookware, etc.

Always a good time and a good place to stock up on supplies and goodies from some of the Vendors.

 Hope to see you there,
 Tom Dickerson

Saturday is prety much an all day thing.  Things usualy open up between 8 and 9 AM.  Vendors sell and seminars are held through the day until around 4PM.  Then there is some prep time for dinner, the banquet and the live auction afterwards.

Easy to stay busy from 8 AM until around 10-11 PM on Saturday...

I apologize for not making it this year, but due to dates changes on a hunt in Texas, Sipsey River will not be there. Sorry to miss it!

We'll miss ya, John.

Can't believe someone would rather hunt than go to a banquet and eat.     :smileystooges:
