ROBTATTOO REWORKED

Well rob made up a mess of knives for TGMM. I bought two blanks. did one with a Osage handle. The other I left until yesterday. The Osage knife never felt right in my hand. I got kinda big hands and the blade seemed a just a tad heavy for me with the grip. so I decided I would rework the other blade. I gotta say working with 01 when it's soft is like working with butter. The L6 sawblades even when I heat them and let them cool slow are still a lot harder then this 01 is. I am not into shiny blade so i left this one with the case hardening look ya kinda get when you heat treat and temper. I added burl wood handles and I slimmed the blade some. I posted a pic of the Osage knife and the one I reworked. Both are great knives (as all of Robs knives are) But now this one feels better at least to me LOL. <><
