First Knife
« on: December 18, 2008, 10:30:00 PM »
I just finished my first knife.
Made a simple forge out of scrap medal and fire brick with a blower hooked up to the back. I think that I got the heat treatment and temper right. Learned alot with this first one. Hope there will be many more in the future.   :)

Made the knife blade out of an old file
Zebrawood on the handle

I can already tell that this knife building is addictive.

Sorry if the pic size is not right, having one heckofa time trying to figure out photobucket.   :banghead:

Congratulations...and you have my condolences. You've just enter a realm from which there is no return.  You're a knife maker!  ;~)

Nice work Bryant.  Knife looks great and the scabbard too.  You're on your way.

I bet the next one was spinning around in your head before the forge got cold.  ;~)
