Pre-School Show and Tell : Todays ray of hope ...
«

Yesterday was show and tell for the pre-school 'step-son'.
Unbeknownst to me, the girlfriend grabbed my sons (same age) mini bow and an arrow from the garage. She brought a back-up show and tell in case the archery equipment was deemed "in-appropriate"
Not only did the teacher allow him to bring it in the classroom.
She let him SHOOT IT across the room ! ... just once. The GF told me the other kids were quite impressed with many oooh and aaaaaahs. :D
There are still decent teachers out there and apparently some of them are archers too !
Mark one down for the good guys !

Might want to keep this quiet, lol. Once the school officials find out, they will attempt to press charges and your pre-school step son could be facing a felony weapon possession charge and tried as an adult. The newspaper headlines will read "troubled youth goes on shooting rampage during show and tell". All the talking heads will be doing shows on "should we ban archery equipment" and trying to link global warming as the cause for pre-school violence :-)

Thats all tongue-in-cheek of course, lol. But seriously, it is refreshing to hear stories like this. It is so important that we pass on this gift of knowledge of archery, hunting, and good woodsmanship to the next generation. It is also very refreshing to see not all in our public schools are driven entirely by political correct nonsense :-)

So Gordy you're saying there will be even more parents that are lawyers then? LOL Good for the little guy and sad that folks have to be concerned about something so innocent.
