All beaded up with nowhere to go (# 2 added)
« on: February 14, 2009, 10:33:00 PM »
I made this knife for the knife swap and said I would try to do something cool for a sheath. So I tried my hand at beading and here are the results
...the sheath is rawhide with a buckskin cover, the knife is a helle with a deer jaw bone handle.
I can tell you this "I ain't no Shell when it comes to beading". But I learned a lot and have a cool plan for my second one.   :)   Whataya think?

Thanks Kevin, for the price you can't beat a Helle blade.
Vermonster yes it was but it was fun too.
Steve, yes I capped it with Osage.Forgot to put that down

Ok I finished up the second one today and man 2 sides take a lot longer than 1. I also switched knives due to fit and design issues. Whatya think?

Oh yeah, the second one is a buffalo skull if you couldn't tell.  :)
