Here is one I just finished. A nice twist damascus blade with snakewood and dyed maple divided by a white spacer. The guard is nickel silver with a mosaic pin. The blade is 4-1/8" with a 3-1/2" cutting edge. OAL is 9". Enjoy!

The blade maker says...125 layers of 1095 carbon steel and 15N20 Nickel steel. He calls it high contrast twist.

Gotcha.
Knowing the steel types will effect the way you harden and temper the blade.
That's a good combination of steels.

The wood was already dyed and stabilized when I got it.

A couple of questions, please. What kind of wood is the natural-color spacer? Also: Did you dye the handle, or purchase it? May I ask the source/link?
