from bar stock to knife - 1st one!
« on: March 03, 2009, 12:00:00 PM »
Well it isn't all that pretty and I have a little polishing and applying a finish to the handle and making a sheath but here is my very first knife.  Made from O1 and somekind of rose wood scales.

Izzy the O1 came from Jantz supply.  It is bomb proof I bought a piece of 1/8" and one of 3/16" this is 3/16 and it is a lot thicker than it looked like it would be.  I call it my camp chopper because it viciously attached the edge of my work bench and chopped out a chunk.
