cabinet grade plywood
« on: March 29, 2009, 03:01:00 PM »
I was going through my scrap boc and  found a piece of what appears to be cabinet grade plywood, would this hold up as a handle?
Thanks
Matt

I wouldn't use it.
Only the exterior ply has any aesthetic value and it's designed for interior use.
As you shape your handle and compromise the layers, you'll run into layers that are not full-grain wood. By that I mean composites.
You'd be better off with a pine 2X4.
When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.
