Primative Style Knives

No matter what I try in knife styles, I seem to be continually drawn back to primative blades.  Maybe I was on the Lewis & Clark expedition in an earlier life after all   :rolleyes:  Doc

a nice rawhide sheath with quillwork and some brass cones with horsehair dangling from it..and some tea stain on that handle material and it would look just like a N.A. knife from the 1830's.

All very nice but I seriously like the one on the bottom.  That is a nice tool.

I should have collected some handle material for you the last few winters Doc. The big cats produce a lot of it.
Those are cool blades, the top one looks to be a great shape for what I find to works best for me.
