micarta/stainless combo
« on: August 16, 2009, 04:28:00 PM »
This combo may not be for everyone but I like it.
ATS34 stainless steel blade is about 4", and the yellow canvas micarta has red liners.  The brass fingerguard is both pinned and soldered.
The entire knife is blasted matte for a non-glare, non-slip finish.
The sheath fits perfectly and the strap makes it as super secure.
Hope you like it.  Dan

Thank you very much for the compliments.
I did have a fit problem and had to go back and correct it.  Which is harder than doing it right the first time.

Great looking knife.  I like the combination of color and texture.  I love wood but that micarta looks really nice.

Thanks very much.  I, too, love exotic woods and antler.  But the micarta and G10 says "bulletproof".
