Latest knives
« on: October 15, 2009, 08:29:00 AM »
I haven't posted any photos for a while, I have been busy and maybe these will give you an idea.  The deer track stamp in the leather, I made it from an old Chevy head bolt using a dremel tool.  FUN.  Just take an old bolt in a vise and start shaping, polish when you are done.  Endless possibilities.
I hope you like these.  Dan

Dan, any chance to see deer track tool you made and how did you do the arrow. I have been scratching some in my sheaths but yours look much better.

Thank you very much, you all know how to make a guy feel good.

pdubya, I'll try to do a post when I get time, on how to do a simple carving and a photo of the deer track tool.

I also made the texture tools to make the 2nd from top sheath, made it look like a black pig skin inlay.  It is no, just a false inlay all done by tooling.
