Looking for Pictures of Home Made Forges

I know this has been up before but I'm just about ready to start building my forge.  So any pictures, type of burners, and tips are really appreciated.  I'm also looking to do a little forge welding too.  Thanks...Jeff

Tippit, Here is one I just built about a month ago. It's 12" well casing with little 2" legs welded to it to aid in cooling when I'm done with it (and so it wont burn the wood stand that it's currently on). The lid and bottom were made out of really thick flatstock we had at the farm. Karl helped me with most of the design by posting pictures of his forge. I can't compare it to anything but it sure heats up hot quick and gives me about 10" of working room after the inswool.

These tips here will help to give much more forging pleasure and control:
Do NOT run a short line from your tank right to the forge. Run as much line as you can, and get as large a tank as you can.
Set the tank on the other side of the room. Run 2 or 3 sticks of 1/2 black pipe up on the ceiling between the tank and the forge.
This allows the gas to come up to room temp before it enters the forge.
When you run a short line from the tank, the gas is entering the forge dead COLD! It makes a difference.
Now, you don't want to regulate the flame with the regulator on the tank pressure! You want to run a CONSTANT pressure from the tank at about 10 pounds. Then, put a separate regulator at the end of the supply line and control the pressure with that. Where the supply line hits the mix tube, insert a needle valve.
