polishing Dymondwood

I've sanded through 400 grit and would like some advise on finishing a letter opener. Should I use a buffing wheel or just wax with carnuba?

I'd finish it off with tripoli/buffer!Looks great also  used it on antlers John T.
Does your train of thought Have a caboose?
