Coyote Jaw for a handle
« on: February 09, 2010, 10:10:00 AM »
Would a coyote lower jaw bone work for a handle on a smaller knife?  I have the skull of the first one I trapped and would like to do something with it.  If it will work, what blade should I use?  Also any pictures of ones so I can see what they look like?

I really dont know,to be honest-But usually depending on what you want there is a way to do it.If the bone is too thin,You may have to think outside the box.And if it can't be done-I guess you'll have the only one like it.
 Sounds like a fun project

Well,I think Skullworks just answered the question of If it could be done. They dont look verry comfortable to use,but look really cool.

It can be done. But you will need to glue the teeth in so that they don't fall out (they will come lose over time).
