Looking at a Kodiak Hunter(I think). How many different models did Bear put out in the green wood either with/without the blue accent.I think ther were also different variations that were half and half(I think).I can here my wife now "There you go thinking again"

I have a Kodiak Hunter that is green with blue accent, great shooting bow. Bear also used the same colors in the Kodiak Mag, and Grizzly if I am not mistaken. I think I remember they had blue bows too, but not positive.

I believe the green KH's came out in '73. They had white overlays on the front of the grip. In '76 the overlays were changed from white to a colored-overlay version. I believe all the green futrewood KH's had blue stripes---the stripes changed in the Super Kodiak depending year. Half and half(?), not sure but could be a reference to KH's built prior to '73. They were made from exotic African hardwoods--shedua and bubinga I think.

I may be wrong but I think the futurewoods were dyed hard rock maple.
