Attaching a handle
«
on:

I am new at making knives so I need a little help with attaching handle material. I need to know how to "pin" my handles to the tang. If someone could help me out I would appreciate it.

Can you post a photo of what you've got to work with? Full tang, etc? Lin

I made the blade from an old handsaw blade so it is full tang.

Have you done any annealing to it or just cut it out to shape? Also, have you attempted to drill any holes in it? One more thing, what material will you use for handle scales? Lin

I have just cut it to shape. I'll use cocobola for scales.
