Sometimes--Just Right
« on: August 03, 2010, 07:45:00 AM »
Sometimes you get surprised and your work comes out better than you expected.  This finger guard came out really neat with the way the old file pattern spread and curved around it.  No need to show the whole knife as this is what I'm looking for  :)   Doc

Real nice Doc! I really like that finger guard style and the file pattern really sets it off.

Looks awesome.  Can you repeat the hammering process to repeat the pattern?

Looks like wood grain. It would be cool to match it up with some burl with a similar pattern.

I like it!
