I've been building bows, arrows, and quivers for years.  I've been toying with the idea of making a knife for several years, but didn't have the courage to take the plunge until I discovered a post of a camp knife that Scott on here.  It was made of a farrier's rasp and something about it called out to me.  I had several used rasp in my horse trailer and decided to give it a try.  This is what I accomplished working off and on over the summer.  They are not nearly as finished or professional as your products, but they are heavy duty and functional.  That seems to suit my personality.

Thanks again for all of the post I have been able to read and gather information from.

Goodness! I apologize for what I've done to you! You are now an addict and have gotten off to blazing start. What a great collection of knives.... Very impressive.

Nice work! I love that three pack and the big knife with the grey handle. What's the handle material on that one?

JMR,
The grey knife handle is made of Corian, a hard plastic i ran across on the auction site.  The color is grey speckled camoflauge.  My son wanted a weather resistant knife for  running his hog dogs.  The yellow handles are osage harvested off our ranch and the brown handles are barn wood from one of my grandfathers old hay barns.  I don't know what that wood is.
