Elk ivories?
« on: September 17, 2010, 11:09:00 AM »
Has anyone incorporated elk ivories into a knife handle?

If so please pm or post the pics.  I have a buddy looking for ideas for using his ivories from a bull he took this year.

Thanks guys.

I was thinking maybe a dark stained elk antler handle with the ivories worked into the finger grooves.

I've never done one but I would think they would look good in the crown part of the antler. Maybe on a lanyard? Here are some from the web...
