Raindrop Damascus & Blue Massur Birch
« on: November 12, 2010, 08:29:00 AM »
Here is another one. Handle was a bit of trouble due to voids in the burl. Got most filled with epoxy and smoothed out. Still some small ones. This one is a 1095 & 15N20 Nickel Damascus in a raindrop pattern. The scales are stabilized and blue & black dyed Massur Birch burl. Gray liners with brass pins. Blade is 4-1/4" OAL is 8-1/4".

Pretty. What'sthat blade profile called?
TGMM-Family of the Bow

The quest to improve is so focused on a few design aspects & compensating for hunter ineptness as to actually have reduced a bow & arrow’s effectiveness. Nothing better demonstrates this than mech. BHs & speed fixated designs
