Is this good steel?
« on: December 23, 2010, 09:46:00 PM »
I found some old saw blades in my garage that I kept around for some reason. They are  1.25 wide and about 18" long.
I finally made a knife blade out of one (sorry no pics),it is really sharp but grinds and polishes hard. Thay look like wood saw blades and I think there old, the writhing on them says molybdium I think that's how it's spelled but just wondering if any body has any in put on that kind of steel?
Thanks, in advance

Should make a god knife.  Good alloy steel.
