Hello again,  I'm currently working on blades to be displayed at the 36th Annual Oregon Knife Show in April, and I just got so dang excited when I finished polishing this handle.

Now that is a pretty knife! The wood really sets off an already outstanding design that has been very well executed.

Very very nice design! Is that carbon or stainless steel?

Dear madness522, "D2" a high-chromium/high-carbon tool steel. I've been using it since 1974. D2 will rust if you keep it in wet environment, however, it is one of the best edge holding steel I have ever used on fish, and large and small game.
