Twisted steel

Wel;l its been awhile since I made one of these.  I hammer forged this one from an large allen wrench and twisted the handle.OAL 9.25" blade OAL 3.5" <><

That's a unique knife for sure, I like it. What kind of steel is a Allen Wrench?????? Never seen one of these before, pretty neat Frank.
