Maple Camp Knife
« on: June 03, 2011, 06:07:00 PM »
This is a stabilized piece of super curly Maple latched onto a hot-blued and laddered 1095/15N20 blade with stainless steel take-down fittings.
Ready to take on the outdoors!!

When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

Home run again Karl. I love the maple contrast with the blued damascus.

I'd like to see the rest of the "camp."  It must be just this side of heaven if it's anything like that knife.        That's absolutely beautiful, Karl.  I really like your handle profiles.
