Another Sis sheath and her hubby knife.
440C
mosaic pins,,inlay etc
again unless I say otherwise we use the best blanks there are period! not out of a catalog.
We put these together for hard use. We can get real fancy..Get these bloody wipe em off and dont worry about rust or pits....My damascus knives are on a special place real safe,,,Damascus,,fine damascus like I see listed on Trad has a very special place in my heart. And are some of my most prized knives.
The US Military uses 440C pretty much and for real cold,,real wet and survival not  only for edge retention,,easy to sharpen and stays that way after hard use....Some of the other stainless are a bit harder to sharpen..ATS34,,CPM154 and 440C are so close in hard use they are splitting hairs...ATS34 and CPM154 are basically the same steel..Ones Japanese and CPM is Crucible MFG USA....440C is less costly...And these blades are made from USA 440C steel.

Gotta sell some of these sheaths and blades to build some more.
