Trinity Samauri Desert Agate
« on: July 17, 2011, 12:46:00 PM »

This is a Desert Agate handle. Rough rock taken from another location that also abounds in Arizona Desert Ironwood. 4 inch Tanto design. Not my cup of Tea,,But all the boys on the USS Ronald Reagon liked em. Again 440C 58-59 hardness.   The blade cant even come close to denting or scratching this Quartz material. Harder than the steel. It can get smashed by a hammer though and busted with a crack hammer or diggin bar...Gotta get it out of the mine somehow.
