Hunting Folder #1
« on: August 19, 2011, 11:05:00 AM »
Been getting few e-mails about not posting ,so here 's what I've been doing. Thought maybe you guys would like to see what's inside one of these and what you start with so I have a few pics.
It's not completly done as I haven't anodized the liners yet but will this weekend and then it will be over in sponsor classified.
It has stainless screws ,dyed Girraff bone handles.Titanium liners, damascus bolsters  (that I made)o-1 steel, file work liners, about all I can think of now.LOL
This is the first one and I will try and make one every week for the next few weeks.at least untill I get better at it.LOL
Here's the pictures enjoy and as always constuctive critsism is welcome.
I'll start with what it looks like when you get materials together and I noticed already I left out the Damascus bolsters (oh well)
then the pieces before you put it back together for the 100,000 time (LOL seems like that many times)

Hope you enjoyed

Wow Kevin That is Beautiful, great job on your first! I love how the grays really flow together.
I have been wanting to start doing some folders since that is what I carry 99% of the time. Not sure really where to start, I guess I need to just jump in and start.

No kidding.

Very nice!! It turned out as good as my first child -- and with a LOT less time and money.

Just kidding. My son is the best! However, the knife really is great.
