week # 2 hunting folder

Here is this weeks folder.I anodized this one .
0-1 steel
gold plated screws
416 stainless bolsters
file work
stabilized dyed maple burl (scales)
gold anodized titanium liners
 
 
 

Here is the one from last week after I anodized it blue also

OK Kevin, you have the first one and your wife has the secone one, so i assume i get the third one right. HA HA
Both of them are fine works of art, your talant is getting bigger everyday. NICE work

True beauties, both. I am a huge fan of hand made folders. I know the only way I will get one is to make one for myself. Right now I am not even close to good enough to try. OUTSTANDING!!!

Kevin, those are outstanding!  Very impressive!  I like the green dyed scales, look almost like a deep dark Jade.

I had to repost to bring this back to the top. This is a Fine knife to just have 6 comments, not sure if guys are over looking this. Its hard enought to make a stright knife, letalone one that folds up. Nice Job again Kevin

I know you do file work,Is it hard for you? its very hard for me,
got videos coming this week though

Kevin, I used to use only files, but have gone to a drimel for some of the work. Arrowheads are the hardest for me, but once you figure it out it gets easier. Keep'em coming

Outstanding folder, It might only be your second one, but I think you have it nailed.
