You may remember this one when it started in Lin's thread "Forging Fun". I finaly got it done and some pictures taken. Now its getting shipped to my brother in Colorado. Forged from 5160 round stock with Iron wood and 416 ss.

Thanks, Steve the blade is 7 5/8 oal 12 7/8. Thanks, JD I think it would do just fine on the swine. I hope it is at home in an elk camp. It will be in elk camp the 15th. The sheath by Kenny Rowe is perfect too. Chris

I've held this knife and it is very straight and true. I think Chris done a great job especially considering that he essentially filed it to shape and did nearly all of the work by hand. Of course, that is exactly why it's straight and true. It allowed him time to check it often and make corrections along the way before it got out of hand. There is a lesson there somewhere.

Awesome job Chris, great lines and finish. Should work excellent in elk camp for those larger chores.

Great job. The line of the blade through the handle looks perfect. Bet that's a pretty quick knife in the hand too.
