Guy's I have a friend that helped me learn how to make folders, his name is Chris Owen and he helps my learning curve alot.
This is stuff he does in his spare time.I thought you guys might enjoy.I really can't imagine how hard this would be.
all this stuff is made from scratch.
Oh yea, this is under the Crafters portion of the sight ,(and is knife related )but if you Mod's need to deleat no problem.

This is a  bench vice and forging tools he made ,my cell phone will give you the size.

Kevin E. asked me to give a little description of the miniature trip hammer I made.  I bought the rough casting from Sid S., then I made the clutches, hammer, arms etc.

hi Chris,  welcome to Tradgang.  You will find all manner of misfits here, including wayward & cranky knife makers.

Great job on that baby Little Giant!   I just went through a real late (1964) #50 Little Giant.  Luckily all mine needed was a good cleaning and paint, otherwise it was new when I picked it up... got lucky on that one!

I'm loving the vice!  Is that mostly forged or cast?  Great work, all around.

The vice was mostly machined out with a little forging. Thanks for all the comment. Chris
