Carbon Glass Has Anyone Used It????

Has anyone experimented with the carbon glass that I see in binghams catalog? I'm planning to build a longbow first then venture into curves but haven't seen any chat about carbon. I'm wondering if I could use it as the outer glass for that carbon fiber look and also get the performance benefits of carbon? Any thoughts?
