Latest broadhead knife
« on: December 18, 2011, 08:05:00 PM »
Had a friend with a birthday coming up and figured i would make him a little broadhead necker. He has seen some of the others i made and liked them so i figured it would make a nice gift. Made with antler burr, wenge wood and a zwickey broadhead. I thought the sheath turned out nice, it was the first time using snake skin on a sheath. Snake skin is a timbler rattler i got out of a friends yard this past spring. Hope yall like it!

Was just wondering. Most of the carbon steel heads are left pretty soft so they won't shatter when they smack into bone (or rocks). Is there any reason one couldn't be re-hardened for use as a knife? They're probably what, 1095?
