« on: September 27, 2012, 12:19:00 AM »
Anyone owned a cutco knife...with or without the Double D edge?

Thanks
Jake

I've got one too and love it.  It holds an edge for a long time with the double D edge guard thingy.  I'm going on over a dozen deer and 5 turkeys with it.  And it's just starting to need it's first sharpening.

I will note that it's not near as pretty as any of the knifes posted here.  I'm saving up for my first custom one...
I'm getting more dangerous all the time...

I have Cutco knives in the kitchen left over from when my wife worked there in college.

They also make K Bar knives FWI. I saw their hunting knives and they looked good but I didn't order any due to finances at the time. They only displayed the serrated model in the catalog but you can get it not serrated I believe.
Relax,
