A few blades for friends plus one for the Sponsor's page.
After Atlantic salmon fishing with my brother-in-law in New Brunswick this past fall, he wanted to document me forging up a blade. He is mentoring a young man who has an interest in making a knife so we start with an old file. Unbenounced to him, I decided it would make a perfect Xmas present for him and just finished it.
A little knife for my sister to keep on her nick-knack shelf.
While shopping for a gift for my wife, I went into a local high end crafts store. They carried unique hand made artisan's wears in pottery, hand turned wooden bowels, etc. I picked up a special gift but decided to take a few knives back in to see if they had any interest. I figured I could match up something to go with a h'orderves/cheese board. They were a bit busy and didn't think their shop was a proper place for sharp knives. But since I had purchased a gift the previous day, they were nice enough to ask to see one of my knives.
I pulled this knife out with a matching stand thinking it looked like a cheese cutter. All of a sudden both owners were hovering and wanting to see what else I had. I may be doing some business next year matching up steel with wood
Finally a package for a Trad Gang Xmas. Happy Holidays...tippit
