I am getting a little archery lesson on Groves and would also like to know about Tice and Watts. How they shoot, how their made and what a fair price is to pay for one.
Thanks

You might find some info in the traditonal history collecting forum. There was  Tice&Watts bow information there last year.

I'll give it a try. I used to sell them and shot one for a while, a Spartan Hunter, I think it was called. Their claim to fame was that they were the first, or claimed to be, to  use computers in the design of the bows they made. I have to say, that they were awesome shooters. They also used tapered lams in the bows which they claimed made them better performers. I don't know if they were the first to do that but doubt it. I believe that they were made in Huntsville, AL, in the 60's. They were gaining widespread popularity for a few years when one of the partners passed away and the company just stopped making bows.
The best things in life....aren't things!
