Trying to get caught up on all the Bowie orders... Here is the latest one finished up for a good customer in Oklahoma.
Forged from 1095FG (3/8" stock), 16-1/4" ovreall, 11" blade, Curly Maple-
Sorry about the shadowy pics, its all I could get!

thanks fellas, this one is stout too... near 3/8" at the ricasso, but alot of distal so it still feels lively for such a banger.

That wouldn't happen to be the knife from your post about forging close would it? I was thinking yesterday that I hoped you would post some finished pics of that knife and if this is it, it turned out everybit as nice as I hoped/expected. I never get tired of a nice hamon and some good ole curly maple.

Matt, the lines flow beautifully. I don't know all the names for the different parts but it looks very well proportioned and is beautiful.

As always I love seeing a new Lamey thread. It means I get to enjoy another one of your great creations. I believe I saw in another place where somebody called them "beautiful monsters" I could not agree more. Thanks for sharing.
Man we gotta get you to the Arkansas Show. I need to see some of these up close.

I understand Matt. Its always nice to meet knife makers especially trad guys. Some day I will get to hold one of your knives but it would be cool to hold it while chatting with the craftsman.
