Loveless style
« on: October 24, 2013, 01:38:00 PM »
I just finished up a coupleflat ground versions of the classic Loveless New York Special. I am calling it the Northwest special. OAL is right at 7", with a 3 1/4" blade of L6. This would make a handy fixed blade EDC, and weigh in at less than 4oz.

Let me know what you guys think.

I agree, just about perfect ! I wonder at what price they run?  I like the first one with the canvas handle.
It don't mean a thing if it ain't got that string! [/i]

Ben, I really like your take on an iconic design. The design is time tested and can't really be questioned in my opinion.  So a fresh take on it to make available to more knife users is great.
Thanks for sharing.

Thanks very much gentlemen! I have never had the pleasure of holding a real Loveless New york special. So finishing these up and holding one for the first is really a cool experience. Getting to feel the ergonomics Bob designed into these knives is really great.
