New WTA donation knife
« on: January 22, 2014, 08:44:00 PM »
I finished this one up today. It is a donation for the WI Traditional Archers banquet in a few weeks. My buddy Dave Ricke let me in his shop to pester him & he helped me along when I got stuck.

Dyed Elk antler for the scales, nickle silver & brass bolster, nickle pins & red liners. Sheath is cooking.

8.5" oal with a 3.5" blade.

Comments & critiques welcome, thanks for looking.

That is a sweet knife!
When the last deer disappears into the morning mist,
When the last elk vanishes from the hills,
When the last buffalo falls on the plains,
I will hunt mice for I am a hunter and I must have my freedom.

Met Mr. Ricke at the WTA banquet this year. Beautiful knives. I wish he had a website. Is he on here ever?
