burl wood source needed
« on: April 18, 2014, 10:19:00 PM »
Hi Guys,

I've read the posting rules and don't believe it's in violation but let me know if I need to remove it.  I'm having a Centaur built and I'm going with the dark matter riser with scales.  I'm needing a piece that's 5/8 x 1.5 x 17.  I love looking at images of incredible burl knife scales but when it comes time to build a bow it's usually impossible to find pieces veneers long enough for limbs or pieces stable enough for a riser.  This seems like my chance to find some incredible burl scales for the riser.  Does anyone have good sources for some wild burl wood?
