My First Custom Knife, BRT
« on: July 14, 2014, 09:29:00 PM »
Had Ben Tendick make me one of his new Compact Scouts. Had previously placed and order for his Frontier model, then he came out with this model and it was love at first sight!

He did a fantastic job and I'm really pleased. Pardon the cheap IPhone pic's but I wanted to get some picture up of this knife.

Wow, that looks nice  :) . Is that desert ironwood for the scales? Whatever it is, I really like the scales. Congrats on the knife-bet it serves you really well over the years. Gotta post up some pics from the field come fall hunting season.

Jeremy,

Yes, it is Desert Ironwood, and now I need to get a good sharpening system as my skills lack for putting an edge on a knife like this.
