Last drop point and Hondoran rosewood
« on: September 25, 2014, 01:02:00 AM »
Here's the last drop point I just finished. the blade is 4 1/2", 9" overall. Handle is Hondoran rosewood burl. The blade steel is CMP154. I like working with this steel, grinds and finishes well and holds a nice edge.

That's a fantastic piece of wood. I've got a nicely figured block of the same stuff sitting and waiting for a good enough knife to go on. Great looking little knife you made. Thanks for posting it up.

Pretty knife. I like the materials too, all of them. You have a good eye for that.

Thanks guys, I really appreciate your thumbs up. I have a couple of more pieces of the rosewood left. Just have to make the best use for them. I try to make a good functional knife and at the same time make it pleasing to the eye.
