Any interest in step drills?
« on: July 24, 2015, 06:36:00 PM »
I am attempting to determine if there is any interest in these.
I have a large quantity of these available to me, which I can make available to you, at a price far below what suppliers charge for their step drills.
For example, the largest one, the quarter inch, is equivalent to a step drill sold by a popular supplier. They sell theirs with a 5/32 pilot for $31.00. Mine has a 3/16 pilot - .030" larger - and I can sell them for $12.00.
The smaller three sizes will be $6.00 for the smallest one and $8.00 for the larger two.
These are top grade, high quality aircraft step drills. Every bit as good, and probably better than any drill bit you currently use in your regular knife making.
These are step drills in four different sizes. If you have any confusion, simply look up a drill bit chart to see where these lay among fractional bits. They are only a couple thousandths off, which is better than most drilling operations can handle, anyway.
Really good step drills for corbys and other shouldered type applications. Even for those who make their own screws, inserts, etc.
I would need a $25.00 minimum order through Paypal and I would pay shipping.
Any interest?

Very cool, Karl. Might have to get my calculator working...
