India Stag Hunter

Ready to glue up...Hunter style knife 9" OAL, India stag slab handle, 52100 carbon steel with checkered thumb grip on spine.  My forge has been pretty quiet all winter as I have been busy working my wild mustang.

Sweet Annee...the reason my forge has been quiet all winter!  She was wild a year ago in Southern Wyoming.  Then she won the MA Extreme Mustang Makeover last August.  What a great little trail horse she has turned into.  Couldn't resist adding her picture  :)   tippit

That is a great looking blade. I have always been a big fan of the mustang horses. They are typically sound, smart and very versatile. EMM is very popular here and I have seen some great cow horses come from it.

I don't recall seeing too many stag hunters from you. Looking forward to seeing the finished knife.
