Where did you guys get your Makers Mark stamp?

Got mine from Buckeye Engraving.  Been using the same touch mark for over 10 years.

That is very cool Jeff! I have mine on order now. It will be 3/8" tall.

How is anyone ever going to know who made the knife?
If you're going to put something on your knife - use your name.
Logos are all cool and groovy, but they do not communicate to future enthusiasts who the maker was.
With only that stamp, I would never be able to find you if I wanted you to make a knife for me.

I would like to add to this a bit.  My wife and I hunted with a former bowyer in South Texas who had what we all described as a "Fighter" knife.  The workmanship was beautiful.  But, there was no clue as to who had made it.  He showed it to everyone he came in contact with, and, at last report, no one had a clue.  A maker's mark would have been the answer, and probably more sales if the bladesmith wanted them.
