First Attempt @ Poured Pewter Bolster
« on: September 17, 2017, 02:45:00 PM »
I've really gotten into these 1800 style knives.  This is my first attempt to pour a pewter bolster.  Knife is 9 1/2 inches OAL, 1084 carbon steel, rolled edge, bear bone handle, and tea stained.  The pewter didn't take the stain so I may try some cold blue...tippit

Turned out great! Those period knives are very aligned with your style Jeff.
