My 1st wood/glass bow build
«

Hi all,
Dano talked me into posting a few pic's of my 1st wood/glass bow. I made it out of zebra wood riser and bacote wood for the limbs.
It's not perfect but shoots well.
I am starting a new one for my son-in-law. I am taking build along pictures of that one, so I'll post them when I have them all done.

SoNevada,
Very nice work.
So it ain't perfect. Well, if you know what made it "imperfect" then you know where to improve on your next one, so it will be even better than the first!
Hope my first attempt at a bow from scratch comes out as well as yours.
Well done!

Excellent job! I haven't the nerve to try a take-down yet.

I thought you all would like to see Ron's first, she is a very fast bow, and nicely shaped handle. He's a typical craftsman, very humble and very high standards. His next bows will be great, I know it.

Looks great, love zebra wood, once you learn to put the shelf on the right side it'll be perfect. Just kidding, really nice work.
