Ok...need help...difficult to admit as a typical man...
I glued up and shaped a R/D longbow: Leopard wood and zebrawood with a cedar core under clear glass.
Looks nice.
I got shallow string groves cut and a short string on it. Bends nice, except one limb looks like it is being pulled to the side by almost an inch. The limb isn't twisting, it's just pulled sideways.
I realize this would be easier with pictures, but I'll try to describe:
With the belly side up and sighting down the string, It looks like the limb tip is being pulled 1" left of where it should be and is therefore not in line with the center of the riser ot other limb tip.
In this view what side of the limb should I sand?
I want to fix this before I finish the string groves (which are all of even depth, btw.).
I had this problem on anther bow and I fixed it, but I can't remember how...
Suggestions?
